
SENIOR ICT TECHNICIAN
Permanent.
37hrs per week, full year role (reduced weeks by agreement is available)
Cockermouth School Academy is a high performing, truly comprehensive school located in a beautiful part of the country on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and is in the heart of its community.
We wish to appoint s Senior ICT Technician to join our in-house IT service. The service supports 4 schools and is based at Cockermouth School. Joining a well established team this role will be a valued part of the overall service and is an excellent opportunity for a early career ICT Technician to gain more experience in a supportive team environment or for an already experienced senior technician to consolidate their knowledge/skills and bring this to our team.
The successful candidates will have the initiative to work independently, a willingness to learn and develop, capacity to contribute to a team approach, flexibility and a genuine affinity with education settings and the work we do in school settings. Candidates should hold a relevant qualification or be able to demonstrate suitably through their experience.
GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths is required for this role.
